Format: 1 x 180g Vinyl LP, with original white inner sleeve and gatefold jacket
Year of Release: 2000
Outer sleeve: Very Good+ (small amount of visible shelf-wear on spine and at corners; otherwise as new)
Inner sleeve: Very Good+ (a bit wrinkled)
Record: Near Mint (not sure this was ever played; no visible marks whatsoever)
The third and final studio album by the English folk musician Nick Drake, recorded at midnight in two separate two-hour sessions, over two days in October 1971, and released on 25 February 1972 on Island. Pink Moon differs from Drake's other albums, as it is recorded without a backing band, only featuring Nick Drake on vocals, acoustic guitar and piano.
The songs are shorter than usual, and the stripped-down sound of the album has been described as bleak and harrowing, but also attractive.
The cover artwork of the album features an illustration by Michael Trevithick (Drake's sister's partner).
Ranked in Melody Maker "All Time Top 100 Albums" at number 48; and ranked number 320 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
