Description
Nick Drake "Bryter Layter" UK Island 1970 (ILPS 9134) .The textured cover has a stain on upper right (below the r and the l) and slight ring wear at the top (see scan). The stain is most likely label residue that could possibly be removed with lighter fluid (if desired). The spine has pinches on upper and lower edges that extend in for about an inch...This is not a defect...have seen many Italian progressive lps that were done in this manner in the early Seventies. The bottom edge has minor wear. The spine also has a little wear that exposes some of the white paper between the "l" and the "y" of "layter". I'd grade the cover a conservative VG+(+) due to these minor defects...The disc on the other hand, is a beautiful copy. Mint . No defects can be seen under a strong light. Have not play graded...If I do, I may be temped to stop the auction and keep this lp. Reasonable reserve for a copy in this condition. Thanks for looking, and good luck.
