This is the rare mis-press MONO playing LP, bearing the STEREO LABEL. The catalogue number V/V6-5032, on the sleeve, also testifies to this, as both V's signify that the record was produced in both sound output versions. Unusually, however, a handful of mis-press versions were sent out and have since become desirable collector's pieces.
The vinyl should be rated as excellent. You can see that the label and spindle hole are both in great shape, with the silver and blue wording. The wax bares minor scuffs but it plays beautifully, with no jumps, scratches or heavy clicks. It is also clean and shiny. The matrix numbers, as shown, confirming that this is the American, 1st Press stereo release.
The sleeve is complete but the bottom edge and spine have been split, for about 6" along both- again, as shown and the spine has none of the original information on it.
It comes in the original, Verve company inner sleeve, which is creased but not ripped. I always replace paper sleeves with the poly lined protective sleeves, which will obviously be sent too.
