Description

Excellent copy of the 1968 lp The Marble Index by Nico. The album was arranged by Nico's former Velvet Underground bandmate John Cale and features music and lyrics by Nico. Songs include Frozen Warnings; No One Is There; Evening of Light; Ari's Song. Produced by Ezra Mohawk. This is a US release with on Elektra Records with label # EKS 74029. The vinyl is housed in its original Elektra inner sleeve. The record plays beautifully with no skipping or static. The album cover has two holes punched in the upper left and the lower right (see accompanying photos). Neither affects the vinyl. This avant-garde recording is difficult to find, especially one from its orginal release year of 1968 and in such wonderful-sounding shape. Buyer pays $8.00 for Priority shipping to a valid US address. The album will be carefully packed prior to mailing.
