Some of the finest fruits from an infamous fertile creative relationship between two of the most dedicated and productive bastions of the 1960/70s Eurotica genre – Spanish born director Jess Franco (Vampyros Lesbos) and Bruno Nicolai (The Good The Bad And The Ugly/All The Colours Of The Dark). Thrown into a long-running partnership following a rare/lost 1969 Italian/Spanish co-production with the emblematic title Sex Charade (which also marked the debut collaboration between Franco and actress Soledad Miranda), the unison of shocking image and rocking sound provided an inspirational exchange of new experimental and uninhabited avenues for both of these workaholic European artists. Released in 1976, this is the Gemelli following repress of original Sermi Records 1st press, including original Gemelli sticker on front , distribution sticker and also a tracklist sticker attached on back. Dreamy and Brazilian influenced music, a sublime Erotic Thriller Soundtrack by the master Bruno Nicolai. Psychedelic, Dark and at the same time Loungy and melodic; dreamy Bossa themes and Free Jazz obscure atmospherics. Lovely artwork with laminated front cover, a complete Library OST!

Side A starter "DE SADE '70" decadent Sitar beating Theme also used by Emilio Paolo Miraglia in his giallo thriller "La Notte Che Evelyn Uscì Dalla Tomba" (The Night Evelyn Came Out Of The Grave), screamy organ and bells with heavy drums, caotic winds, very nice and super rad. Happy Samba tunes on "TROPICAL" with infectious Tropical sounds. "PSYCHO-MEETING" features Edda's Scat Lounge & Jazz Club vocals. "EUGENIE" is uncontrollable Bossa super groove accompained by an amazing guiro pattern, vibraphone and organ. "CRIMINAL SEX" Thrilling tensed atmospheres. On the other side, "CHEEK TO CHEEK" provides a superb Edda Dell'Orso's scatting voice with brilliant cinematic sounds, beatiful. Then "CIRCLE" Free Jazz Psychedelic insane Dark Theme with obsessive motif and lysergic backgrund atmosphere. The best shot in here is the second to last "DRUG PARTY": incredible, sick track with Sitar introduction and one of the best cinematic music I've ever heard. Acid influcenced trip straight to hell, bewitching Edda's voice which provides the right infernal mystic mood. STUNNING!
