Nicolai Merry Wives of Windsor Kubelik D86D 3 Factory Sample

 

Helen Donath, Ridderbusch, Brendel and others with the Bavarian Radio Chorus and Orchestra conducted by Rafael Kubelik perform Nicolai’s Opera, “The Merry Wives of Windsor”. A three record set, this is an English stereo pressing on the Decca Label (D86D 3). The labels are pink with Factory sample and the catalogue number written in pen. Apart from scuffs around the edges, the records are of excellent appearance and play and sound superb, although with a fair amount of low-level surface noise. This does not have a box as the records came only with the picture which was to come later. This has small creasing.
