Vinyl Condition: G (The record has light surface marks and a number of light scratches and light lines on both sides but is in decent shape for its age. The record plays well with good rich sound. There is some surface crackle and some clicks and pops in places but no sticks or jumps. There are a couple of audible clicks at the start of side 1 but is otherwise fine. The start of side 2 "Feeling Good"is quite crackly which is not surprising as its one of the star tracks. It plays fine but with crackle. I would say side 2 has more crackles and pops than side 1 but it is still very enjoyable and a great listen. The spindle on side 1 has some visible wear. Overall a great album and a very enjoyable listen. If you are looking for mint then this is NOT for you but if you dont mind some crakcle and pops which has to be expected for a record of this age then this may be for you. It is very hard getting on of these in any condition and this one is decnet).
Inner Sleeve Condition: Fair (Original inner sleeve has browning and has splits and a number of rips/tears but at least its present).
Outer Sleeve Condition: G/VG (Fully laminated sleeve has some lifting to the laminate in places. Some of the laminate on the back of the sleeve has losted and peeled off in places. Some general light wear and light age related discolouration on the back but overall a well preserved sleeve and is in good shape especially for its age).
I grade my records as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
If you would like further information on sleeve or record condition then please email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
Please note: Due to the large amount of CD’s and records that I am selling, I don’t have time to include the track listings. If the track listing is important to you then please email me and I will send you the track list.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR POSTAGE ADDRESS IS UP TO DATE AND CORRECT BEFORE BIDDING.
Cheers and happy bidding.
