Description
HALO EIGHT PR 5509. First Pressing Promotional copy. This is the Promo release of Downward Spiral on Double LP. Interscope only made 1000 copies of this release. It was given out to industry people and a handful of record stores 2 weeks before the album actually came out. I was friends with the owner of the only independent record store locally and he gave me this record an hour after it arrived. I played it once and recorded it. It hasn't been played since. This copy has been in a plastic bag and in a metal box ever since, until I just now took it out to take a couple of pictures. Both records are in immaculate condition, as are the full-color-art slip sleeves and the gorgeous gatefold cover. The catalog number is PR 5509. This album was meant to be listened to on vinyl.
