Description
This week, I’m parting with some great albums from my collection that just don’t fit my focus any longer. Bid with confidence, I am a record collector as well as a comic book collector - I take pride in accurate grading and caring for my items, and you can rest assured they will be packed for safe transit (that includes removing the record from its sleeve). Please have a look at all the items I have up, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I have over the years.
Nirvana Bleach 1st Press UK on Tupelo - Black Vinyl version with correct matrix (see notes below).
The Tupelo pressings changed up the tracks slightly from the U.S. version - they contained "Big Cheese" where "Love Buzz" appeared on the U.S. one. There were three official colors: white, which was limited to 300 copies, dark green, limited to 2,000, and black. The labels are a light blue-ish/green-ish grey. This one is a minefield for that reason. There are a couple of ways to tell real and fake apart, but most are difficult if you are not looking at both at the same time. The best way is still the matrix codes. Real ones have matrix codes that say MPO TUPLP 6 A1 / MPO TUPLP 6 B1. The fakes are missing the the MPO part. This release has the correct matrix code as stated above (see photos - I couldn't fit MPO in the photo, but it's there on both sides). One big thing is that the fakes play "Love Buzz" as track 5 instead of "Big Cheese". This release plays BIG CHEESE.
Sleeve: VG+ Some rubbing on back cover, slight creasing and edge wear consistent with this grade. Price tag on front cover. Still maintains a nice gloss, no ringwear. There is a tiny bit of seam split, but it didn't punch all the way through, about 1/2" (see photos) SUPER NICE spine, tight, sharp and no damage. Very nice presenter for this grade.
Record: NM High gloss, no marks - plays beautifully and crisp. Wonderful sounding release.

Includes original unprinted inner sleeve. Record will be housed in a black poly-sleeve outside the sleeve.
This is NOT a modern reissue - NOT a bootleg, this is the REAL DEAL! A VERY RARE and highly sought after LP in this condition, exceptionally nice and complete down to the original inner. As always, see the high resolution pics for all the details. A difficult release to find these days in higher grades and confirmed as a non-counterfeit copy from the music legends!
