Description

Thanks for looking at my auction, which is for a copy of the prized first pressing "Bleach" LP, by Nirvana on Sub Pop. Contrary to varying stories that circulate, this is THE rare *first* pressing of this LP, on white vinyl. According to records, only 1000 were pressed, and the second pressing was on black vinyl. This is similar to the copy I had available a few weeks ago, yet a different copy altogether. The jacket on this LP is VG+, with only a few light creases around the edges, and one larger one in the bottom left corner on the back. It's about an inch and a half long, but you barely see any indication of it on the front. There is a minor ding in the corner in the same spot on the front, but it's only about a half inch in length. Other than that, there's only a trace of any wear around the rest of the jacket.

The LP was professionally cleaned and vacuumed. It was then play graded on both sides, and plays beautifully. Nice and loud, I'd give it a strong VG++ or even Near Mint. The matrix numbers are SP-34-A, along with L-32926 and k disc ch. The same goes for side B, except that the SP-34 code has -B after it instead of A. Also, the LP has a slight hint of black mixed in the white vinyl on both sides. It's just a small area, but it's nice that it's there nonetheless and adds to the rarity and uniqueness of this particular copy.

I presume whoever ends up as the winning bidder on this LP will be perfectly happy with it, as it's in excellent condition overall, considering it's age and rarity. This LP came from a collector in NYC who I presume was a music reviewer back when this LP was released. I highly doubt it was played I have no reserve on this LP, and my opening bid is only .99. Good luck, thanks for your interest, and happy new year.

Feel free to e-mail me with any questions, through E-bay or at Kindtaper@aol.com. All of my auctions start with an opening bid of .99 and have *no reserve*. Please check my other auctions for more rare vinyl and cool stuff. I am beginning to sell records out of my personal collection, most of which are in really nice shape, just things I don't listen to very often and need a new home. Please keep checking back with me for other great titles. I prefer Paypal for all of my auctions. I will make special exceptions for money orders or concealed cash (at your own risk) if you clear it with me in advance. Please do not bid unless you can pay for the item within 7 days of the auction end date. If you're not going to pay for the item, please do not bid. Also, please do not e-mail me asking me to end an auction prematurely. I will only do this if there is a problem with the item.

Shipping costs: Shipping is free anywhere in the world on any LP with a winning bid over $100. All LPs are shipped well packed in specially made boxes manufactured exclusively for shipping LPs. Records are carefully packaged between pre-cut cardboard filler pads to prevent them from getting bent or damaged during transit. All LPs, new or used, are sent in brand new polypropylene protective sleeves to protect and enhance the beauty of your investment. I ship all LPs in the above manner, no matter the final bid outcome. If the LP you win is not sealed, I will ship the record or records in their inner sleeves on the outside of and next to the jacket to avoid seam splitting. You are welcome to combine multiple LPs that you win from my auctions in the same box to save on shipping. If you win single LPs, you can usually get 3 in the same box. If you live in the USA, I can send any LP (up to three) via media mail for $5. This covers the protective mailer, shipping, and delivery confirmation. If you want Priority mail, UPS or another carrier, I can get this quote for you AFTER the auctions end. I will always only charge you what the carrier charges me, plus $2 for the mailer, filler pads and tape used to mail your LP. I do not intentionally add surcharges to shipping rates like some people do. If you live in Canada or the rest of the world, I send LPs via air mail, and a single LP is usually $7, and $10 for double LPs, but again, after the auction is over, I can pack the LP and give you an exact price. It's harder to know in advance. If you live in Europe, a single LP is $12 for air mail shipping, and $15 for double LPs. Japan is $13 for a single LP and and $16 for double LPs. Thanks again for your interest in my auctions and good luck if decide to bid. If you are unhappy with anything you buy from me, I will work with you to make you satisfied.
