Description

Nirvana - Come As You Are Rare Limited Edition Twelve Inch Picture Disc 1991 Geffen Records UK Original.

This is the incredibly limited twelve inch United Kingdom picture disc release of the Nirvana single 'Come As You Are.' The UK release came with a proper die cut sleeve. This single has a some history as the UK band 'Killing Joke' took exception as to how similar this track sounded to the Killing Joke song 'Eighties.' I believe all was forgiven and Dave Ghrol later played drums on the Killing Joke album from 2003 simply called 'Killing Joke.' Bonus live track on this twelve inch single is 'School' which was recorded at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle, Washington on October 31, 1991. This was the last American show before the band headed over to Europe for what was to be an amazing tour of fabulous shows! 

This week is the 20th Anniversary of the world shattering 'Nevermind' album. We can only imagine what other great material might have been created had this band had carried on or if Kurt had started a solo career!
