Description
NIRVANA
Dedicated To Markos III (Pye NSPL 28132) 1970
Here's an original copy of this famously rare album, the third by the UK pop / psych duo of Patrick Campbell-Lyons and Alex Spyropoulos, helped by Mike Vickers (Manfred Man) and Tony Visconti (David Bowie, T. Rex). It features the brilliant 'The World Is Cold Without You' and 'Black Flower', as well as lost popsike classics such as 'I Talk To My Room', 'Illinois' and 'Love Suite'. This is - in my opinion - easily the best of their albums, and by far the rarest too. Rumour has it that it was withdrawn from sale (perhaps because 'Christopher Lucifer allegedly insults Chris Blackwell, the head of their previous label, Island). Either way, it's a wonderful record.
The front-laminated sleeve is VG+ with some minor creasing to the front cover and a small sticker pull on the top left at the back. The spine is fully legible.
The vinyl is glossy and shint, with hairlines and one or two minor marks. It plays fine and is graded near EX.
