Description - It is very rare that a copy of this original Vertigo pressing is for sale in such great pristine condition. I bought it brand new from, of all places, a chemists shop in Brockley (South East London). I now wish I had bought all 6 copies they had to sell. When first released this album did not sell at all. At the start of the 1970's there was the opportunity in the UK, certainly around the London area, to buy LPs and 7s from chemists and news agents. These were brand new records that the record company could not sell through the normal outlets and wanted to shift. So they found they way into outlets other than record shops and were racked up on a carousel. Over the years I have only played it a maximum of 3 times. The gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition. There is just one patch of edge wear on the bottom, no ring wear and no vinyl cuts. It has no storage wear. There are no other marks, tears or writing. The spine is solid and unbroken with hardly any wear. All of the text is visible and can be read. There are no fine hair like creases running down it. When opened out the inside is in excellent condition with very little wear at all. The vinyl is exceptionally clean and shiny. There are no scratches or surface marks. Both sides look unplayed and in mint condition. They play with a lovely warm rich sound and no intrusive background noise. The paper centre labels are the classic swirl style with black text and Vertogo logo. There is just a couple of visible spindle marks on either side around the centre hole. This copy comes in the original, and still lined, swirl inner sleeve. The matrix numbers are 6360031 1//1 and 6360031 2//1. A very first pressing of this now classic album.

I can ship using a courier service if required where you will also you will be able to choose to include options such as Track & Trace, Additional Insurance, Signature on Arrival. Rates will be quoted on request.If a record contains 2 discs then the rate is calculated as 2 records, 3 discs as 3 records and so on.
