Description
Ultra rare communion split single in great condition.
I've never played this record, it's been stored away for many years.
The colour appears to be mottled pale green with some beautiful white streaks
a Total of 1000 copies were pressed by the communion label and revolver distribution of frisco.
The basic colours pressed were blue and purple, with lower numbers of red, pink, yellow, green, black and grey.
Some colours appear to have darker pastel or marble effect.
Others have some transparency.
In 2010 a fully transparent copy was found with white swirls and iceberg effect.
Previously there were rumours of Orange copies given to the band.
This may be true, however only 3 credible copies have surfaced, one in Holland, and 2 in England.
A sole mustard, or marbled brownish copy was reported.
This may be only one in existence.
Other copies appear to be heavily marbled, or in some cases splattered.
In 2005 a hot pink fully splattered vinyl emerged in San Francisco with white, grey and black swirls. This may well have come direct from the pressing plant as a left over copy
These tend to be extremely rare, and there are only a handful of credible splatter vinyls to date.
