Description
For sale is Nirvana's Nevermind, an Original Master Recording originally released in 1991 by Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs in a gate-fold presentation with an insert included. This is a limited edition 200 gram Anadisc pressing, that is numbered as 1862. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks are etched the matrix numbers A-3/B-2, indicating that an early stamper was used to make this unique record. These are all hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering that produce superior sound qualities in a record. I bought this record new, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into a MFSL archival inner sleeve, like I do to all my records. This preserves the integrity of the vinyl and any original insert(s) or inner sleeve(s) that may have come with the album. There is no original inner sleeve, but the original insert is Near Mint. The cover is Excellent with some minor corner rubs. The spine has a bit of color loss at the tip of one corner from the corner rub. The disc is visually graded as Excellent, but I would not hesitate to play grade this as Near Mint. I've only played this around three or four times, the last time was about 5 minutes ago. This is the best copy of this album that I have ever seen or heard and you would be hard pressed to find one in this condition. I have other Rock and Roll albums, as well as records of all genres in my Ebay store. Please take a look. They're almost all Near Mint. Thank you for viewing by listing I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI HW-17 record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative. I offer discounts for multiple sales. Photos are of the actual item for sale, not a stock photo. Please review all descriptions and photos because I do not accept returns. Thank you for looking!
