Description

Nirvana Unplugged in New York, rare UK first press.
These are becoming harder and harder to find on vinyl (mostly made on cd and tape at the time!). Demand for these is going up and up among collectors. This is a reluctant sale from my own collection.
First pressings were on white vinyl and had a yellow advertising sticker on the front cover.
I'll give as honest a breakdown as I can so you know what you're getting:
The cover is very nice for its age. Excellent really - very little wear or creasing.
The inner sleeve is excellent too - no major creasing or splits. Very nice.
The labels are very good, not much sign of wear. The vinyl, visually, is very good. The only blemishes are a few small, faint black marks to either side, and side 2, where there's a faint orangey mark. These white vinyls do tend to show up things more than usual though. I've never actually had this album professionally or properly cleaned (I'm not much of an audio equipment buff) so it's possible it could be removed with a good clean - but I don't know. Importantly, these marks do not appear to affect play. As for the play itself, it sounded good on my machine, though skipped on 'Polly' and 'On A Plain.' My machine, however, isn't great (an old Sony hi-fi stacking system) but, while it played fine for most of the album, I can't guarantee a full, clean play. It's been like this since I bought it a few years back. Barely listened to it myself.

In summary then, this is an overall very nice copy (with a few small blemishes) of a rare and classic album. Priced low to start.
Thanks for looking and happy bidding.
