NIRVANA – MOLLY’S LIPS//FLUID - CANDY

(US SUB-POP SINGLES CLUB SP97 – 1991 BLACK VINYL PRESS)

 

 

Rare 1st edition Black vinyl release ‘Singles Club’ split release by Nirvana and Fluid. 3500 out of the 7500 were pressed on Black vinyl, with the rest pressed on Green Marble vinyl. This is a legitimate pressing from 1991 – there are numerous counterfeits in the market place, so beware! (The runout grooves feature the etchings 'Later' and "Kdisc' - hand written)

 

This has had mininimal play, picture sleeve has slight creasing top left corner (basically a thin glossy paper sleeve), and record in Near Mint condition. The perforated fold over sleeve is intact and is free of any imperfections. Subscription card is attached.

 

Candy recorded live at The Satyricon in Portland, Spring 1990. 

Molly's Lips recorded live at Pine Street Theatre in Portland, Spring 1990.

A great ‘split’, both performances A1, and almost a year before the massive breakout of Nirvana.
