Description

  For sale is No New York with various artists in a compilation of New York Bands recorded in the Spring of 1978 and released in 1978 on Antilles Records. It features the Contortions, Teenage Jesus and the Jerks, Mars and D.N.A.. I bought this record new, cleaned it and immediately put it in a protective inner sleeve. The cover design and photograph as well as the production is by Brian Eno. The record is Near Mint, as I always played it on top of the line equipment. One of the unusual things about the inner sleeve is that the printing is on the inside of the sleeve, not the outside. I'm a huge Eno fan and have followed him from Roxy Music through his various incarnations as a solo artist and producer. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
