No Trend was an American noise rock and hardcore punk group from Ashton, Maryland, formed in 1982. They were considered anti-hardcore, with the members, especially guitarist and lyricist Frank Price, vehement about their abhorrence towards the punk youth subculture. The band was known for their confrontational stage performances, which normally involved aggressively baiting their punk audience.
No Trend quickly became part of the core of the early '80s DC punk.  This is release NT 005 on their own label and is the first and only edition in existence.
I purchased this album in 1985 and am the original and only owner for the last 41 years.  Fortunately kept it in a plastic album cover which is why it is in pristine condition.
In my opinion musically this is their best album.  Featured female vocalist on the album is Lydia Lunch.  The version of For the Fun of It All is a different recording from the one on Too Many Humans and features a higher quality lead guitar shred on the intro and in the body of the song and the production quality is much better as well.
The album is collector quality grade.
Cover - NM    The spine with album title etc is flawless.  There is one ding pictured on the upper edge of the cover to the far right.
Inner Paper Sleeve - NM   (there are no wrinkles, tears or marks on front or back of all)
Vinyl - NM    There are no visual scratches on this record.  However there is a caveat which I cannot verify as I no longer have a turntable.  The last play of this vinyl LP was over 10 years ago when my wife had a service to convert this record to digital.  The digital version I have has a repeat at the end of Tear You Apart.  There was no click or pop sound at the end of that track and there is no visual scratch on that track.  It was probably a one off due to dust or a light tonearm.  However, I cannot guarantee that the repeat is not there but want to let buyers know as I don't accept returns.
