Here is very rare Noel Coward picture record from the 1930s. It features Noel Coward with Leo Reisman and his Orchestra in a program of Noel Coward Songs. Coward a playwrite, actor, and writer came to fame in the early 1920s. His career had it's ups and downs, from unanimous critical praise to critical disdain during later years. Prolific, he wrote and starred in a number of hit plays on both sides of the Atlantic. He came in and out of favor, but in the end was acknowledged as giant of the Theater.
This record was made by RCA Victor: No.39002-A. One side features a close up portrait of Coward, with a listing of the Plays he had written up to the time of this record. The other side features a smaller picture of the conducter Reisman, and the three plays from which the music and songs on this record were taken from: "Bittersweet","Charlot's Review",and "This Year Of Grace". The LP measues 12 inches in diameter,is very thick, and appears to be in VG+ condition. No chips or cracks. Some brown foxing on both sides of the record. Frankly, if it is like modern picture discs, then it isn't designed for play, but I don't know the properties the material or what the status was during the 1930s, as such this item is being sold in AS IS condition. Very Scarce !

- OVERSEAS BUYERS: MUST use BidPay/Western Union Auction Payment Money Orders. No cash payments or Bank Checks allowed any longer.
- THOSE WITH LESS THAN 10 Feedbacks: Required To Pay electronically via BidPay/Western Union within A Week
- Payment expected within 10 days of auction ending, and contact is expected WITHIN 3 DAYS from all auction winners, per Ebay's requirements. Those who can't comply or ignore the terms, please don't bid. After 7 days, and without payment OR contact I take the first steps via the new Ebay rules to remind the buyer. At that point you will have an extra 7 days to meet your obligation without penalty. If you have contacted me per Ebay's rules (within 3 business days), then I am happy to wait 10 days or so for payment. After 14 days, if payment has been promised but hasn't arrived, I again will have to take the first steps towards recovery of selling costs or possible reauction,by sending the official Ebay reminder. I SUGGEST ALL BUYERS familiarize themselves with the NEW RULES. Ebay has shortened the time period and made less cumbersome the rules for Sellers to recover monies from slow payers and deadbeats, while the same penalties still apply for non-payers. Late payers and folks that I have to email repeatedly and hassle to get payment, get added to my blocked bidder list. I can't be bothered to waste time chasing deadbeats when I am processing so many auctions. Thanks.

Record Grading Scale
- Mint=Flawless or Still Sealed LP,Most open pieces will never be in this condition
- Near Mint = like new or near new with only one or two small insignificant defects, a 9 or better on a 1-10 scale. The cover will be as new, with only the most minor signs of wear.
- VG++ = still a very nice record with all or nearly all of its original gloss but may have a very few light surface marks, or paper scuffs from the sleeve, nothing that should affect play quality.
- VG+ = A nice, but used record that may have a very few light scuffs or scratches. It probably plays well, and has no serious problems.
- VG = a good record with average use. This record that should still sound good when played, but may have moderate surface noise, pops, etc.
- VG- = a very well-worn record that should play through without skipping, and will do better until a better one comes along.
