Rare 1971 Dawn LP  "We Had To Let You Have It" by Noir, With Barry Ford , http://www.mapmusic.net/barryford.php , on drums and vocals Britain’s first all black rock band supported The Rolling Stones, Cream and a good few other bands and were asked by the daddy of British Blues Alexis Korner to be his backing band for a while.Noir got signed to Dawn Records But in the middle of recording their first album got caught up in a dispute with the label which caused the band to split, although the record was never completed the label decided to go ahead and release it anyway under the title of “We Had To Let You Have It”  If you're into prog rock you will love this album. It's in very good condition plays really well and sounds great, it comes with the original insert also in great shape. The sleeve is equally good no splits or tears and no writing on sleeve or disk.
