Very rare uncut picture disc from NOISEWORKS.
This is something of an oddity as I cannot find a reference anywhere online to a Touch picture disc, let alone an uncut one. Without any further information I can only assume that the picture disc was rejected.
NOISEWORKS were originally an Australian rock band formed in Sydney in 1986 with bass guitarist Steve Balbi, guitarist Stuart Fraser (who died on 30 November 2019), drummer Kevin Nicol, keyboardist Justin Stanley and lead vocalist Jon Stevens.
As with most uncut picture discs this will have been rejected during the manufacturing process because of some perceived fault. It is not sold with the expectation that it will be played, although it may be playable. It is sold because there will be collectors out there who collect NOISEWORKS, picture discs and/or uncut picture discs.
There is no reserve, so it will be sold as long as the starting price is matched.
I will only post within the UK.
This is being sold as part of a friend's collection. He has asked me to sell it for him. He has owned it since buying it in the 90s from a boot sale or record fair in East London. Like many picture discs or uncut picture discs it was rescued from a skip at the Orlake Pressing plant in Dagenham. As such there are surface marks. As previously stated this is one for the collectors and is not sold with the expectation that it will play well, if at all, although it may be fine.
