Excellent funk soul rarity USA copy from 1972. The label is colored white and reads PROMOTIONAL COPY NOT FOR SALE. The back cover has an ink stamp reading the same. Promo copies are true first pressing sent to radio stations and media outlets weeks or months ahead of being offered for sale to the general public. They are, also, often manufactured to have better fidelity than stock copies, in order to sound better on the radio.
Condition: the vinyl is near mint condition. No marks on the vinyl. Very, very slight warp which in no way effects play. Would flatten under pressure over time. I've done this many times with slight imperfections such as this one. Doesn't effect play as is anyway, as I've stated.
The cover is VG++ with faint hints of ring wear as in the photo and an inch or so long diagonal crease mark on the back in the bottom right. No cut out hole or seam splitting.
