Description
Noreaga - N.O.R.E Penalty Recordings Label PENV 3077-1 1998 US First Pressing (Only pressed once in UK and US, US identified by the -1 on the catalogue number) Matrix Side 1 - PR-3077-A (Etched) Matrix Side 2 - PR-3077-B (Etched) Matrix Side 3 - PR 3077-C (Etched) Matrix Side 4 - PR-3077-D (Etched)
Very rare example particularily in the UK of an important debut album by Noreaga. Contains Superthug one of the most respected tracks of the golden era of club hip hop and the first big break for production team Neptunes ie Pharrell Williams. Also includes collaborations with legends Big Pun, Nas, Kool G Rap, Busta Rhymes, LOX.
There isn't another example on global Ebay at this time so don't delay or you will miss out.
All of my records are play tested on a Project Debut Carbon with 2M Red stylus which is quite revealing so any sound defects may be more exaggerated than on other more mainstream players. Or conversely if you are a full on audiophile I will let you judge how your set up compares and how you envisage the sound will compare.
I don't currently have access to a cleaning machine so please forgive any dust or finger marks which are on any of my records - hopefully will be investing in one at some point.
Record Appearance - VG+ Very solid condition with only minimal marks and the odd scratch and a nice glossy finish on all 4 sides. Labels are in good condition apart from a pen mark on side A and side D.
Record Audio - VG+/NM For the most part very little surface noise maybe just the occasional quiet moment. Majority of the tracks and nice and loud with a full rich sound quality your neighbours will love.
Record Sleeve - G/VG There is considerable shelf wear but the sleeve is in tact no splits or tears. Noticeable wear on edges, corners and spine with some ring wear to the front and penned initials on the front right bottom. Titles on spine are still legible. It is quite a soft material cover which has probably not helped matters. Inner sleeves are generic white and are in poor condition but do have some interesting drawings on from previous owners. I don't have any spare inners otherwise I would have replaced them sorry. Does include a small insert with details of production credits and other artist releases which is a nice touch and I dare say missing from most copies.
All questions answered and offers considered. Thanks for looking and please follow me and check out my other listings as they appear. I work full time and have 3 children so please forgive any delay in communication but should be within 24 hours.
International buyers are welcome using the Ebay Global Shipping Programme at additional cost billed directly to you.
