Norma Tanega - Walkin' My Cat Named Dog
(New Voice 2001 USA LP 1966)
This is a USA original Mono LP pressing. It has a heavyweight matt sleeve & comes with its original company plain paper inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has green "New Voice" labels which are grooved also. The record has 1st press A1/ B1 matrix stampers.
This is a genuine USA Mono 1st pressing. A great mid 1960's Acid Folk LP. It includes the classic "You're Dead". Which is the theme song to the comedy vampire series "What We Do In The Shadows".
Sleeve: There is some light, mild or more moderate rubbing wear, & a few paper splits, on the spine (see photo). It is not too bad. There is a very small tear on the front sleeve on Norma's face. There is a 4 cm area of moderate rubbing wear on the top edge. There is some light, mild or very mild rubbing wear on the top & bottom edges on some areas. There is a small UK import drill hole through the sleeve - in the bottom right corner tip area. There is some light or very mild fading to the "white" of the sleeve around the edges of the sleeve. Overall, Very Good minus condition
Vinyl: The paper inner sleeve, over time, has left some mild, very mild or more moderate dull speckled surface marks on some areas. There are 3 small & light surface hairline marks on one side. These measure from 1 cm to 2 cm in length. There are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can hardly be seen under a strong light. Overall, Very Good condition. The labels are in Excellent condition & show light or very mild spindle wear only. The company paper inner sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Near Excellent to Excellent overall & Excellent+ in some places. There is some light, very mild or very minor crackle in a few quieter places. There are no noticeable clicks or pops. Overall, a great audio copy!
