Description
For sale is Norman Granz' "JAM SESSION #2," on Verve MGV-8050, MONO, 1956. With Charlie Parker, Oscar Peterson, Ben Webster, Benny Carter, many others.
SOUND: MINT It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. What can I say? The playback is flawless! A delight!
VINYL: NM Only extreme caution keeps me from grading the vinyl "mint!" There are no flaws on this beautiful, pristine record! Even the black/silver Verve labels look new, not even a spindle mark!
JACKET: VG+/NM The jacket has solid, clean edges all-around, and the corners are nice, but both right-hand ones are slightly bumped. Front cover is brilliant, bright, clean and unmarked, just beautiful! The back is very bright and clean, great condition, with a faint "promo" stamp across the top, and a short, thick line of black marker (see pics.)

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
