Description
For sale is Norman Granz' "Jazz at the Philharmonic" "New Volume 2," MG Vol.2, on Clef MONO, DG, 1955. With Charlie Parker, Lester Young, Dizzy Gillespie, Howard McGhee, others.
SOUND: MINT It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. The record sounds fabulous, like new! Clean and clear, not a trace of any surface noise.
VINYL: NM The vinyl is just outstanding, near-flawless! The labels are glossy, deep-grooved, black/silver Clef "Trumpeter," with only a trace of wear around the spindle hole.
JACKET: VG+/NM Heavy cardboard jacket is outstanding.The edges and spine are solid with minimal wear. The corners are also very nice, with very minimal wear. Both front and back are in beautiful condition, very clean and unmarked, with minor, routine aging.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
