Description
"Midwifery (Norman Caserley) / Natural Home Birth," by Norris the Troubador, released on Mister Midwife Records. Great song poem folk pop oddity about Norman Caserley, the "world's first male midwife." There is extensive coverage of Norris the Troubador at the American Song Poem Music Archive, and a discussion of this record, of which three separate versions exist. This is the fourth version, noted by the Archive but never found. There is also some info on the site about Caserley, who apparently was an outspoken naturist, ran a couple nudist colonies in the U.S., and acted in some early 60's nudist exploitation films. Vinyl in VG++ condition with light intermittent static.
