Description

On offer is the Arthur Alexander Northern Soul/R&B US Import 7" White Label Demo Single "Anna (Go To Him)" from 1962.

This is an excellent catchy midtempo R&B-style dancer that was written by the man himself. The B-Side is a Fats Domino style midtempo R&B shuffler complete with piano.

This is the original US Import White Label Demo on the Dot label from Los Angeles and was pressed there by Monarch Recording with the Delta Nos. 44539/44540 which show that it was pressed in September 1962. Increasingly hard to find as a stock copy so must be rarer as a demo especially with the original sleeve.
