Description

For sale is a stunningly beautiful and great sounding copy of the northern soul rarity by The Cavaliers, "Hold To Me Baby," b/w "Dance Little Girl," RCA Victor #47-9054 from 1966.  The vinyl couldn't sound any nicer and is really clean and shiny.  I had to look really hard in bright light to find even a couple of micro scuffs and they are mostly in the dead intro wax and not even in the music, I literally heard zero noise during the music, it's that good.  I would have graded this EX for the vinyl but the one "flaw" is a date stamp on the A side, and many of not most promos from this era I've had have the same thing, I believe it was done at the factory.  Otherwise I think the pictures show just how nice it is.  I got this at a garage sale in the original RCA branded sleeve, the woman used to work at the pressing plant.  A rough looking VG- graded copy of this just sold for $152, so I have a hunch this will go for more than the buy it now price if it goes to bidding, grab it while you can if you want a stellar promo copy of a really hard to find classic.
