Description
What a great find was this record. From 1965, J & S records #1472, “In the Middle of the Night” b/w “Row Row Row Your Love”. Middle of the Night features a huge gospel style intro, goes into a back and forth between Ashe and Hartsy Maye. All around beautiful song. Blue with silver labels have slight wear, no writing, VG+. Gradings:
M : Mint ( I never use this grade unless I’m making tea or visiting Denver).
NM : Near Mint, Very clean, only a few light marks but sound is like new.
VG++ :Very glossy, any scratches or marks will be light and barely affecting play.
VG+ :. Possibly some light crackle, plays well.
VG : Used record, some scratches, no loud pops or skips; plays ok.
VG- : Some loud crackle, pops, a skip, probably not much gloss left.
G : Abused! Some serious scratches, skips, a crack.
Most all of the records I offer here were found in vacant houses, at yard sales……, in dumpsters, etc, on the streets of Detroit. There’s none left so don’t come to town looking!
