Description

The Royal Five – Don’t Stop – Impact Sound Acetate – Unreleased 1966 Philly Northern Soul

“Don’t Stop” was slated to be the B-side of the second 45 by the Royal Five, to be released on the mighty P&L label.

While both sides were finally released years later on Philly Soul Volume One CD and a very limited 45 reissue, this is the ONLY existing acetate which was found amongst the archives of Philly record producer Phil Gaber. This one-sided acetate is visually in VG+ condition and plays strong VG+ with some slight surface noise during the beginning bass guitar intro. This acetate has a slighty different mix than the CD and 45 reissues.

 

THIS ONE OF A KIND NORTHERN SOUL ACETATE HAD NEVER BEEN OFFERED UNTIL NOW, SO BID ACCORDINGLY. Overseas bidders must pay for registered airmail for items over $100.00
