This record truly sparkles.  It's as glossy, crisp and sharp as the day it was made. From the first note of "Please Don't Mention Her Name" till the flip side's final fade, this record is a highly collectible gem that will almost certainly continue increasing in value.  

I use Goldmine's grading criteria to grade the records I sell, but when I need to research  monetary values for my vinyl I turn to whatever happens to be the most recent publication from "Mr. Music," record price guide guru Jerry Osborne. Osborne is accurate, honest, hard working and prolific, so his opinions are industry's gold standard as far as I am concerned.  I mention this because I happen to know Jerry Osborne believes the Billy Storm Northern Soul classic up for auction here is a hunk of wax worthy of investment.  How do I know this?  He told me so.  Not personally, but in print.  In the newest edition of his vinyl value bible "Rockin' Records," Osborne lists a $75-$125 value range for a NM copy of Storm's 45. 
Also, Popsike, the vinyl-only auction tracking site, shows a May 2012 sale of a M- pink promo copy (with VG picture sleeve) of this record for $236 American dollars.  They also show one regular blue-label release in VG+ condition without a picture sleeve selling for $96 in March of 2007.
So this record is a good value and a good investment.  Who cares?  The real reason to bid up for this gem is because it's great music (and you can dance to it).
