Comments: The original A-side is Scott’s re-make of Jerry Butler’s 1960 hit, with slow but heavy beat accentuated by a fat bass and a piano played in the lower register. Scott gives it a deep treatment supported fine gospel flavored back-up vocals.

 

However, the recent popularity and high price of this 45 is driven by the funky hard-hitting B-side with some break-like sequences. Again superb singing and a fat bass.
