Mint - pretty much perfect and mostly mark free - will play perfect.
EX - with some some surface marks - will play perfect.
VG+ - Record with marks - will/could play with some noise.
VG- - Record with numerous marks & scratches - will play with background noise (still a record worth having - will play all the way through - no skips or jumps).
G - Will be well used, little or no shine, will play all the through but with significant background noise.
