Description
At auction is a 45 RPM record of Tony Galla performing "In Love" and "Guys Go For Girls" on the Swan lable, S-4275-I. As stated on the label, this is a rare Promotion Copy, intended for use by radio stations and not for sale to the public. The words "Don't Drop Out" and 1966, along with Brotherly Love music, Swagger Music and Anita Productions are also on the label. "In Love" is described as an "outstanding charging uptempo dance groover with very strong lead vocals, nice stops, builds, excellent Hammond break and fills, along with fine piano work, key modulates up at end." The B-Side, "Guys Go For Girls," is "an excellent punchy handclappin' dance groover with more strong lead vocals, stops, great crunchy guitar work and more fine piano work." The record is in good condition for its age with light, superficial scratches and scuffs that don't affect play. On the B-Side, "Sue S" is written in biro ballpoint faintly above the hole (visible in the photos).
