Description

Tony Newman's 1968 Decca single, coupling 'Let The Good Times Roll' with 'Soul Thing' was reissued in this 1970 version (F 13041) and went on to become a great success on the northern soul scene. Both sides lend themselves to some frantic dance moves, with the A side rocking along and the B side a little more on the funky side. Both sides have since been widely sampled.The musical director on both sides was Keith Mansfield, the composer of 'Soul Thing', and the record was produced by Noel Walker. Something of a cult record.
