Description

Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.

Grading is based on visual inspection.

Album ships in a 2 MIL poly cover sleeve and poly-lined rice paper inner sleeves.

I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.

New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I call a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played.  I use the grading category to describe the cover condition.

Nuggets/Original Artyfacts from the first psychedelic era 1965-1968
  • "Nuggets" is one of the most critically acclaimed compilation albums of all time. Several "Nuggets" compilations followed but this is the first, original version.
  • This album was compiled and produced by renowned guitarist, composer, writer and member of the Patti Smith Group, Lenny Kaye. He also wrote the liner notes.
  • It not only defined an era it looks to me like many of the songs on these two records could also be classified as seminal garage band music.
  • This is a very exclusive copy: A one-owner, White Label Promo that has never been played.
  • It is a Double LP.
  • The paper-on-board gatefold cover has tight seams, a stiff spine and shows no wear.
  • The inner sleeves are the first version of the Elektra butterfly. I have included soft poly-lined rice paper inner sleeves.
  • The Seller got this new from the Elektra rep in his record store in 1972. It has been in storage for 46 years. The Seller says he actually worn out 2 commercial copies of this but put this one away, un-played, for prosperity which is now!
