Amazing and influential primitive UK DIY pop/clang, this version is the rare first pressing of 800 copies with xerox sleeve and different artwork than the later proper printed sleeve. The sleeve is in very nice shape and would grade as near mint if it weren't for the rip/tearing at the bottom (see photos). As such, the sleeve looks great in a protective plastic sleeve; it's only when it's taken out and opened that this flaw really shows up. Blank labels on both sides. Features band leader Ed Ball pre-Television Personalities!
Condition: VG+/M- (sleeve/vinyl)
M (mint) is reserved for unplayed, flawless stock copies. M- (mint minus) is the highest grade for a record in beautiful shape. EX (excellent) means there's a minor flaw on the sleeve (small crease, price sticker) or disc (fingerprint, harmless scratch). VG+ (very good plus) means a sleeve has minor shop wear — is creased and/or shows a ring impression, and the disc shows cosmetic signs of handling. VG (very good) means not for the anal-retentive. The sleeve shows multiple flaws (sticker tear, seam split, ring wear, rumpled top) and the disc has surface noise (no skips or thunderous pops) and multiple small scratches. VG- (very good minus) means the sleeve is "well loved" with numerous flaws while the vinyl is exhibits many flaws and is noisy. G (good) means the sleeve contains major flaws such as large tears, heavy staining, etc., while the vinyl is beat but playable with no skips.
