Description
Highly sought after 1973 west coast folk-rock/psych album! Borrows heavily from Jefferson Airplane vibes circa Crown of Creation/Volunteers and also dabbles in some Buckingham/Nicks territory. Great male and female vocals, lead guitars, acoustic guitars, fender rhodes, piano etc. Wonderful creative arrangements and great recording quality!
Acid Archives states-
"...it's a highly enjoyable extension of the melodic hippie male-female westcoast rock sound popularized by the early Airplane, Mamas & The Papas, et al. Songwriting is fine with hooks scattered about, the instrumentation is rich with acoustic guitar tapestries, piano and keyboard, and great lyrical guitar leads. It's a mainstream sound throughout that impresses both on the first play and stands up for repeats ... Nevertheless, I would file this next to Homestead & Wolfe as one of the very best local local hippie folkrock LPs from the era."
This is a great copy. DISC is EX- with some paper scuffs that do not affect play. No scratches, full gloss, and fantastic sound. JACKET is also EX- ; very nice crisp sleeve with light rubbing to corners.
