Description
Here is a beautiful copy of an extremely rare 45 by The Lively Ones: "(Now I Recall) Lovin' You" b/w "Little Star" (Nancy 1/2). Matrix numbers stamped: ZTSP122364 / ZTSP122365. Both songs written by Ralph Calabrese. Not to be confused with the surf band, this "Lively Ones" set hailed from Connecticut.
Here's the liner notes from the Sundazed collection, "60's Connecticut Rock": "The Lively Ones, from Waterbury, were together only six months, long enough for Cavalier to get "Too Many Lies" and "Think" on tape (but never released as recordings). The band broke up when Ralph Calabrese, its lead singer, was drafted, though Calabrese later joined the Blues Menagerie, which put out one album on Buddah."
Labels are super clean. No writing, stickers, or tears. Vinyl is gorgeous. NM condition.
