This is the original pressing from 1996 on black vinyl. This is not the red vinyl RSD pressing or the recent re-release on black vinyl.This album is from my personal collection. It has never been played - I haven't had a working turntable since 1994! The records have never been played and have been stored in a protective plastic sleeve. The album is in a new unplayed condition - in as good of shape as you could expect for a 25 year old record. I call it Mint- (minus), because is any record ever truly a mint copy? Please check the photos.
I am in Los Angeles and purchased it at the time directly from the record importer/distributor who imported records from the UK and then distributed them to record stores. Back in the 90's, and earlier, UK pressings did not come shrink wrapped. Some record stores would shrink wrap the records themselves, but they did not come shrink wrapped originally.
As far as I can tell this is a UK pressing and the distributor imported it from the UK but nowhere on the discs or on the sleeves does it say where it's manufactured. I've read online that this initial pressing may have been for only 2,000 units for the world, but I have not confirmed this, I've just read this online but that sounds reasonable given the fact that no one was buying vinyl in 1996, it was a steeply declining format at that time.
This album will be shipped in a plastic sleeve and the discs will be shipped in generic white paper sleeves and will not be shipped inside the album cover or in the picture inner sleeves so as to avoid splitting the album cover/inner sleeves while in transit. The album will be shipped in a regular mailer, but then I will enclose it in another larger box. If you want me to pack it in a different manner, please let me know.
