OCTOPUS Restless night LP (AU) Penny Farthing/Festival SPFL-934227 (1971 - 12 inch 33rpm vinyl LP, rare original Australian issue. Note this album was released in the U.K. in a gatefold sleeve, but the Aussie release was in a regular (not gatefold) pic sleeve and is very hard to find! British rock band with prog and psych influences, produced by Troggs' bassist Tony Murray. Band previously known as The Cortinas and members Malcolm Green and Nigel Griggs later joined Split Enz. Tracks: The river/Summer/Council plans/Restless night/Thief/Queen and the pauper/I say/John's rock/Rainchild/Tide. Cover and record both EX-, clean copy. Labels very clean.)
