ODETTA – “Odetta Sings” (1970) Polydor-4048 original pressing EX/M- (cover/record)

Super scarce and great funk and soul album by Odetta. This is perhaps her most desired LP for the incredible self written “Hit or Miss” groover with a massive breakbeat sampled by DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist. But there are great cuts all across this album that finds her in more of a soul bag than her earlier folk recordings. This never turns up.

This is an original pressing. The cover has some light wear and two saw marks in the top left corner and a small name written on the front lower corner. The seams are tight with no splits. The vinyl is glossy and beautifuly. Conservative grading: EX/M- (cover/record).

Winner pays postage. Domestic U.S. shipping is $4 media rate or $10 for priority mail (insurance additional and quoted at cost). International first class shipping (7-10 day delivery) varies by postal zone. Please see the listing for specific costs.

I package all LPs securely in record mailers and remove the vinyl from the covers to prevent seam splits during mailing. I do not just stick your record in a priority mailer box from the post office or between two thin pieces of cardboard with no additional packaging materials like so many others!!!
