Description
Scarce jazz lp: THE HORACE SILVER QUINTET - Silver's Serenade - Blue Note BLP 4131, mono, with "Van Gelder" and the Plastylite ear in the runouts; this is the first repress with no deep groove, and was issued in the same year it was first released, 1963.
Condition: VG/VG (vinyl has minor scuffing, several long soft scuffs, about 6 short scratches that I can feel (1" to 1/4" in length) and that do cause some repeat ticks, but overall this plays VG++; sticker to one label; jacket cover has light rubbing, tiny ink mark and tiny scar, with tiny edge dent and a touch of peeling to the coating at right edge; moderate rubbing to two corners, heavy rubbing to the others, 2-inch split to bottom seam, two 1-inch splits at top seam, and 1-inch heavy rubbing at top of spine; back cover has ink name, corner wrinkles and general rubbing).
