Scarce psych rock lp: THE DOORS - debut album, Elektra, mono, EKL-4007, Monarch pressing, released in 1967. Has the censored version of the song "The End", but has the label error (track 1, side A - "Oher" instead of "Other"); has the "(Weill-Brecht) Witmark (ASCAP)" publishing credit on Side One label for Alabama Song (Whiskey Bar), which was soon changed. This copy is a bit odd, because in the runoffs "(MON)" is only on side A (instead of both), while it has a circled "MR" on both sides, as it should. Complete runoffs are, Side A: EKL-4007A (MON) MR[in a circle] ?10046 [Illegible Text]; Side B: EKL-4007B-2 MR[in a circle] ?10046-X [Illegible Text].

Condition: VG/VG (moderate scuffing and surface scratches, only a few that I can feel; it plays mostly VG+ with occasional areas where the background is a bit heavier, or some areas of minor ticking; labels have some rubbing and a sticker; inner sleeve has my pencil notes and seam splits; jacket has some heavy rubbing to covers and extremities).
