Description

Ogyatanaa was founded in 1971 by Kwadwo Donkoh who also founded Agoro records in the early 1970s.  Agoro released verious popular and traditional records, e.g. Wulomei. This first album by Ogyatanaa Show Band features classic highlife tunes like "Mmobrowa" and a funky "Yaa Amponsah" plus the great "Yerefrefre", a twenty minute long medley paying tribute to Ghana's highlife greats like E.K. Nyame, C.K. Mann, King Onyina, E.T. Mensah, Nana Ampadu, and K. Gyasi…
