Desirable, Italian soundtrack rarity and fabulous 2sider. Rumoured to be the first film score collaboration between the maestro and Library king, Bruno Nicolai. Mood music for the pop art cum James Bond 007 espionage caper spin-off, O.K. Connery aka Operation Kid Brother aka Secret Agent 00. A cult spoof spy film directed by Alberto De Martino starring Neil Connery (the real-life brother of Sean Connery ;) Features the best vocal theme on original vinyl by Italian mod girl, Christy aka Maria Cristina Brancucci of Deep Down - Danger Diabolik infamy. "The Man For Me" is a killer psychedelic pop song. Thunderous, 'beat' orchestrations by Bruno Nicolai with shouting female backing & counterpoint male scat harmony (no doubt by the Alessandroni singers). Great for DJs. Disc cut loud with big production sound. The "N-A-50-33-11" side aka Connery Congiura theme, is even better. An obsessive, exotic and percussion-heavy psych jazz instrumental. Lots of frantic bongo breaks - shakers - guiro scrapers and cinematic brass stabs with an aggressive chase sequence / film noir ambience. Striking artwork picture sleeve showing Neil Connery in full Scottish regalia with the deadly weapon cum movie gimmick used to kill his victims
