- White label promo is in reference to the records special pressing that was manufactured specifically for radio stations or other promotional (non-retail) use and NOT sold to public
- It also means that the white label promo pressings are among the first records pressed from the stampers for a particular release, which generally means they may sound better than their stock counterparts.
