Up for auction is a French opera record. Made between 1905 and 1909. The condition is outstanding for the age. It is in good- condition. I do not see scratches but it has been played with a crank phonograph. It has been well taken care of. It came from a museum, conservatory, or a large private collection. It has a special cardboard sleeve, not the original sleeve. Please email me and I will send a link to my grading system. This is a good record to listen to for someone with a record player. This would make good background music for a play, poetry, etc. The condition is such that it could be transcribed to a CD (with some restoration). This would be a good candidate for a museum or conservatory. This would also make a good Christmas, birthday, or New Years present for someone that likes this kind of music. Records of this caliber, and age are almost impossible to obtain. You will not find a better one. I am starting it at $19.95 with no reserve. So what it sells for, it goes for.
